About
I’ve been drawn to technology and community as long as I can remember. I learned the ropes of web development by digging into Free and Open Source software when I was a kid. That foundation allowed me to learn a trade that would end up providing me with a consistent living wage into adulthood.
I like to talk about FOSS, labor, and the future of work. I’m interested not just in the latest tech stacks but more so the structures and governance of the technologies we use every day and the impact, intentional or not, they do and can have on the world.
Nowadays, I work in Developer Experience and strive to make the web a better place by using my experience to help others find opportunity within the tech industry to do work they find fulfilling and can be proud of.
